Town Council Structure & Elections

The Town Council is composed of the Mayor and four Council Members, all of whom serve to represent the Town of Nashville at-large.

At-large representation means that each Council Member represents all residents within the town limits, rather than a specific district or ward.


Terms of Office:

  • Each Council Member serves a four-year term.

  • Terms are staggered to ensure continuity.

    • One cycle includes the Mayor and two Council Members

    • The other cycle includes the remaining two Council Members

All Town of Nashville elections are conducted by the Nash County Board of Elections.

To vote in Nashville Town Council elections, you must be a registered voter residing within the Town limits.
