Smoke Alarm Installations & Safety Checks

Smoke alarm checks

Battery replacements

New smoke alarm installations

This program is offered at no cost to residents and helps ensure homes are protected and compliant with life safety recommendations.

Our goal is to reduce fire-related injuries and fatalities by making sure every home has working smoke alarms.

 

Child Passenger Safety Seat Checks

In partnership with the North Carolina Office of State Fire Marshal and Safe Kids North Carolina, our certified personnel offer:

Car seat inspections

Proper installation assistance

Guidance on correct seat selection

Education on safe usage

We are committed to helping families keep children safe while traveling.

Fire Prevention Week Programs (October)

Each October, we participate in National Fire Prevention Week by visiting:

Summer Fire & Police Camp

In partnership with local law enforcement, we host our annual Summer Fire & Police Camp for youth in our community.
