π§ Road Improvement Reminder π§Beginning June 15, NCDOTβs contractor will start milling and resurfacing Washington Street from Evans Drive to 1st Street. Work will take place at night to minimize traffic disruptions and is expected to take approximately 3β5 nights to complete, weather permitting. Please use caution in the area and expect occasional delays while crews work to improve the roadway.
π§ PUBLIC NOTICE: Temporary Change in Water Disinfection Process π§From June 1β30, 2026, Nashville will temporarily switch from chloramination to free chlorine as part of routine NCDEQ-required maintenance. Your water will remain safe to drink and use. Residents may notice a stronger chlorine taste or smell during this time.

The Town Council is composed of the Mayor and four Council Members, all of whom serve to represent the Town of Nashville at-large.
At-large representation means that each Council Member represents all residents within the town limits, rather than a specific district or ward.
Each Council Member serves a four-year term.
Terms are staggered to ensure continuity.
One cycle includes the Mayor and two Council Members
The other cycle includes the remaining two Council Members
All Town of Nashville elections are conducted by the Nash County Board of Elections.

To vote in Nashville Town Council elections, you must be a registered voter residing within the Town limits.
