Bank Escorts

The Nashville Police Department offers businesses in town bank escorts upon request. To receive this service, please call the Police Department at 252-459-4545.

Fingerprinting

The two (2) photos above depict the two (2) different types of fingerprinting ; one with a computer attached to a scanner, and the more traditional process of using wet ink to make fingerprint impressions on a fingerprint card. The Nashville Police Department only offers traditional fingerprinting.

The Nashville Police Department offers fingerprinting services upon request.

Pricing:

  • Officers - free of charge
  • Children - free of charge
  • All others -
    • $15.00 for up to two (2) cards per individual.
    • $5.00 per each consecutive card.

Fingerprint cards are supplied.

These services are performed on Tuesday's and Thursday's between 9:00-10:00 AM.

To receive this service, please visit the Town Hall located at 499 South Barnes Street to pay the service fee. Town Hall will provide you a printed receipt of payment that you will then need to present to the front counter at the Police Department. The Police Department is located directly next door to the Town Hall at 501 South Barnes Street.

Police Department Presentations

The Nashville Police Department is able to give presentations on a variety of subjects to civic groups, churches, neighborhood watches, schools, and other groups.

This service is free of charge.

Police Department Tours

The Town of Nashville Police Department offers tours of its facilities upon request. This service is free of charge.

To receive this service from one of our police officers, please contact the Police Department at 252-459-4545 and indicate your request for a tour of the Police Department.

Police Reports

The Town of Nashville Police Department provides police reports upon request. Police Reports are available three (3) business days after the initial report.

To obtain a copy of a police report, the fee is $5.00 per copy. This fee must be paid at the Town Hall located at 499 South Barnes Street. The Town Hall will provide you with a printed receipt of your payment to present at the front counter of the Police Department. The Police Department is located directly next door to the Town Hall at 501 South Barnes Street.

Police Reports are only provided Monday - Friday between the hours of 8:30am - 4:30pm.

Safe Internet Exchange

safe internet exchange signThe Town of Nashville provides Safe Internet Exchange point at the Police Department located at 501 South Barnes Street. There is a designated space in the parking lot in the front of the Police Department where internet exchanges may take place.

This meet up location allows citizens to make exchanges with purchasers met online safely in an area with 24-hour camera monitoring. It is free of charge and is available 24/7.

Vacation Watch

The Nashville Police Department offers a Vacation Watch service. Nashville PD are able to complete routine checks on your home or business while you are out of town. This service is free of charge.

To make a Vacation Watch request, contact the Police Department at 252-459-4545, and provide us with your cell phone number. When checks on your home/business are completed, you will be informed by text message.
