🚧 Road Improvement Reminder 🚧Beginning June 15, NCDOT’s contractor will start milling and resurfacing Washington Street from Evans Drive to 1st Street. Work will take place at night to minimize traffic disruptions and is expected to take approximately 3–5 nights to complete, weather permitting. Please use caution in the area and expect occasional delays while crews work to improve the roadway.
💧 PUBLIC NOTICE: Temporary Change in Water Disinfection Process 💧From June 1–30, 2026, Nashville will temporarily switch from chloramination to free chlorine as part of routine NCDEQ-required maintenance. Your water will remain safe to drink and use. Residents may notice a stronger chlorine taste or smell during this time.

Outdoor Adventure Camp (Ages 7–11) Outdoor Adventure Camp is an exciting youth day camp designed for curious explorers ages 7–11 who love to learn, create, and play outside. Campers will learn about local ecosystems, practice outdoor skills, and explore how science, technology, engineering, art, and math connect to the natural world. Through guided activities, games, and collaborative projects, participants will develop new skills, make friends, and gain a deeper appreciation for the outdoors!
