Galentine's Felting Class

Galentine's Craft Night: Felting from Farm to Fiber

Discover the art of felting while learning where natural fiber truly begins! This engaging, hands-on felting class features a special guest speaker from local alpaca farm, Hardly Farm LLC., who will introduce participants to agritourism and the journey of alpaca fiber from farm to finished craft.

The program begins with an overview of fiber production, including alpaca care, shearing, and how raw fleece is prepared for use. Participants will also learn about felting as a creative and relaxing hobby, exploring tools, techniques, and possibilities for both beginners and experienced crafters.

During the workshop, attendees will have the opportunity to try both needle felting and wet felting techniques. Guided instruction will allow participants to create simple felted projects while gaining confidence in each method. All materials will be provided, including alpaca fiber, and participants will leave with their handmade creations.

This class is perfect for adults and teens interested in fiber arts, sustainable agriculture, or hands-on crafting. No prior felting experience is required—just curiosity and creativity!
