Come out for a night with Allison Jones from Cup Full Coffee and Bakery! This class is geared towards beginners, but seasoned bakers are welcome! You will receive your very own active sourdough starter with instructions and recipes to take home. In class, you will learn how to feed and maintain your active starter, what to do with the ' discard' starter, then mix and proof a loaf that you will take home to bake sometime the next day ( after work is fine). You will sample some already prepared Sourdough sandwich loaf, cheddar loaf and cinnamon brown sugar. Cup Full Coffee will also provide some coffee to sip while you learn and prepare your loaf! I promise you that you will find this class easy, fun and of course a bit messy! Please bring 1 small jar for your starter ( peanut butter jar size is fine) 1 mixing bowl 1 mixing spoon an apron if you wish! Youth participants 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult participant.
