π§ Road Improvement Reminder π§Beginning June 15, NCDOTβs contractor will start milling and resurfacing Washington Street from Evans Drive to 1st Street. Work will take place at night to minimize traffic disruptions and is expected to take approximately 3β5 nights to complete, weather permitting. Please use caution in the area and expect occasional delays while crews work to improve the roadway.
π§ PUBLIC NOTICE: Temporary Change in Water Disinfection Process π§From June 1β30, 2026, Nashville will temporarily switch from chloramination to free chlorine as part of routine NCDEQ-required maintenance. Your water will remain safe to drink and use. Residents may notice a stronger chlorine taste or smell during this time.

Water Services
The Town of Nashville provides water and sewer utilities to all properties within the town limits and in certain sections of the Extra Territorial Jurisdiction (ETJ). To establish service with the Town of Nashville fill out the Online Form or contact Town Hall (252) 459-4511.
We purchase the majority of our water from the City of Rocky Mount and supplement daily needs with five wells maintained by the Public Utilities Department.
Wastewater Treatment
Sewage from the Town of Nashville is treated at the Tar River Regional Wastewater Treatment Facility, located in the City of Rocky Mount.
