Effective August 1, the Town of Nashville is lifting Mandatory Stage I Water Restrictions and returning to Voluntary Stage II Water Conservation. The park rests upon the banks of Stoney Creek. Designed to operate as a passive park, it offers citizens the chance to enjoy and interact with nature. The park is located on both sides of West Washington Street next to Historic Downtown Nashville, with the main portion of the park located directly behind L&L Food Store and Taco Bell.
The park has several amenities. The amenities include a tennis court, exercise equipment, a picnic shelter, a playground, and an amphitheater.
If you wish to experience more natural settings, there is a trail that will lead you to Stoney Creek. There is a greenway that takes you through a wetland area over several boardwalks along the creek.
Parking is available at the playground site west of Washington Street and at the nature trail head at the end of Elm Street behind the Nash County Courthouse.
