Library Programs for Children

Storytimes:

  • Mondays from 4:00 PM - 4:30 PM
  • Thursdays from 11:00 AM-11:30 AM

Join us for Storytime in the Library Programming Room every Monday and Thursday. Parents & caregivers are invited to meet new friends and build on pre-reading skills. Although this program is geared towards babies, toddlers, and school age children are also more than welcome to attend. Storytime programs consist of the five (5) practices of early literacy skills from Every Child Ready to Read which include: 1) Singing 2) Talking 3) Reading 4) Writing and 5) Playing.

Builders Club:

Join us for a free build or challenge with our LEGOs. This program focuses on teamwork as well as those elements of STREAM which stands for science, technology, reading, art and mathematics.
