The Administrative Services Division of the Nashville Police Department is located at 501 S. Barnes Street and operates Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, excluding holidays. While administrative offices follow standard business hours, the department provides professional police services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, including holidays, to ensure the safety and well-being of all who live, work, and visit our beautiful town.

The department is comprised of 24 full-time police officers, 10 part-time positions, and one full-time records clerk. The agency is led by Chief of Police Caleb Shockley, who oversees the Administrative Division, Patrol Division, Task Force Officers, and the Special Investigative Division.

The Nashville Police Department works in close collaboration with a variety of local, state, and federal agencies to enhance public safety, combat crime, and improve the quality of life in the Town of Nashville.

Chief of Police Caleb Shockley

Chief Shockley leads the Department with over a decade of experience. A graduate of the FBI National Academy and former HSI Task Force Officer, he served on the HSI RAC Raleigh Undercover R & R Team and has experience in complex investigations. Previously he supervised the Special Investigative division. He is committed to service and public trust and enhancing quality of life for all residents.
