PUBLIC NOTICE - A Public Hearing will be held on Wednesday, September 26th at 7:00 pm in Town Council Chambers to receive public comments on the Street and Special Events Permit Application for the Children's Christmas Parade sponsored by the Nashville Chamber of Commerce.  The permit is requested for Saturday, December 1, 2018 from 2:30 pm until 6:00 pm and will impact traffic on W. Washington Street from Barnes Street to Alston Street.

PUBLIC NOTICE - ELECTRONIC AUCTION OF SURPLUS PROPERTY
At the August 7, 2018 Regular Town Council Meeting, the Town of Nashville Town Council declared certain personal property surplus and authorized for disposal by electronic auction.  From October 1, 2018 – October 12, 2018, surplus vehicles, equipment, and supplies will be sold via GovDeals, an online auction service provider, at www.govdeals.com. Registration is required in order to bid and items are sold “as is, where is.” The acceptable methods of payment are cash, money order, and cashier’s check. Please take time to review the terms and conditions before bidding.  For questions about using the GovDeals website, please contact GovDeals at (800) 613-0156. Ride-Along Program

The Town of Nashville Police Department offers the Ride-Along Program upon request to members of the public. This service is free of charge.

Participation in the Ride-Along Program requires the completion of the Ride-Along Application as well as the Liability Release, Acknowledgement, and Assumption of Risk Form. If preferred, a paper copy of the completed application and liability form may be returned to the Police Department at 501 South Barnes Street in Nashville or by fax at 252-972-4279. Otherwise, please complete the online Ride-Along Application Liability Release, Acknowledgement, and Assumption of Risk Form below.
