Public Notice:   No Ammonia Used for Water Treatment   Beginning Monday, April 01, 2019 the Town of Nashville will temporarily stop adding ammonia during water treatment disinfection process. The duration will be up to 30 days.

 

 Public Notice: The Town of Nashville  Non-Emergency Offices will be closed Friday, April 19, 2019  for Good Friday.   There will be no bulk pick-up the week of April 15th .

Bulk Pickup applies to items that are too large for the green roll-out carts such as furniture, grills, mattresses, etc., and will be picked up on Fridays. If you have a large item that needs to be picked up, please notify Town Hall by Thursdays at noon. A work order will be completed and the item(s) will be picked up on Fridays.

"White goods" are appliances which include the following: refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners, water coolers, air handlers, water fountains, drink boxes, walk-in coolers, stoves, dishwashers, washing machines, clothes dryers, trash compactors, window or other fans, furnaces, fluorescent light fixtures with ballasts, water heaters, and microwaves.   The Town disposes of the items at Rocky Mount Recyclers and there is a charge for this. The charge for items  is $15.00. Payment must be made by Thursdays at noon for Town personnel to pick up the item(s) on Fridays.
