The Nashville Parks & Recreation Department regularly offers “special programs” throughout the year. We also co-host events with other groups and non-profits so contact us with your ideas.
Here are the programs currently offered annually:
Pickle Ball: Every Thursday morning from 8 am to 11 am at Stoney Creek Environmental Park. Call the Recreation Department for paddles and balls.
Easter Egg Hunt: Scheduled around Easter Holiday
Outdoor Movie Series: Dates and times TBA in spring
Open Gym: During Summer and Winter Months
Summer Camps: Baseball, Girls Softball, Basketball, Football, Soccer, & Cheerleading during Summer Months
Summer Jam: Foul and 3-Point Shooting Contests in August
Halloween at Glover Park: Haunted Walking Trail and a Outdoor Movie
The areas along the Washington and Church Streets offer some of the oldest structures within Nashville today. The two page self guided walking tour brochure can be accessed above providing information about various buildings and homes dating back to the late 19th and turn of the 20th Century.
We encourage you to contact us direct to learn more about our special programs as well as suggesting future additional ones and exploring potential partnerships.
