  • Employment Opportunities
    • Available employment opportunities can be located under the Job Openings section.  All advertised employment opportunities are also advertised via the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and within other relevant publications for certain positions.
    • A completed Town of Nashville employment application is required for all advertised positions.  Applications are accepted year round.
  • Hiring Process
    • The Human Resources Department administers the recruitment and selection of applicants for all position vacancies.  Employment opportunities are posted as they become available for recruitment.  The Town of Nashville regularly recruits for full-time, part-time, and temporary positions.  To ensure consideration, applications and resume must be submitted by the required closing time and posted date.  When an employment opportunity is listed as “open until filled,” apply immediately as the position may be filled without notice.
    • Resumes alone do not qualify as an application, but may be attached to an employment application.  Some positions require an additional supplemental questionnaire that will be distributed before interviews begin.
  • General Employment Information
    • Equal Employment Opportunity Policy
      • It is the policy of the Town of Nashville to foster, maintain, and promote equal employment opportunity.  The Town shall select employees on the basis of the applicant’s qualifications for the job and award them with respect to compensation and opportunity for training and advancement, including upgrading and promotion, without regard to age, sex, race, color, religion, national origin, disability, political affiliation, or marital status.  Applicants with physical disabilities shall be given equal consideration with other applicants for positions in which their disabilities do not represent an unreasonable barrier to satisfactory performance of essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
    • Identify and Employability
      • If employed, you must submit proof of identity and eligibility for legal employment.  Contact the Human Resource Department for a complete list of acceptable documents.  Drug testing and physicals are required for some positions prior to being offered full employment.
