PUBLIC NOTICE - A Public Hearing will be held on Wednesday, September 26th at 7:00 pm in Town Council Chambers to receive public comments on the Street and Special Events Permit Application for the Children's Christmas Parade sponsored by the Nashville Chamber of Commerce.  The permit is requested for Saturday, December 1, 2018 from 2:30 pm until 6:00 pm and will impact traffic on W. Washington Street from Barnes Street to Alston Street.

At the August 7, 2018 Regular Town Council Meeting, the Town of Nashville Town Council declared certain personal property surplus and authorized for disposal by electronic auction.  From October 1, 2018 – October 12, 2018, surplus vehicles, equipment, and supplies will be sold via GovDeals, an online auction service provider, at Registration is required in order to bid and items are sold “as is, where is.” The acceptable methods of payment are cash, money order, and cashier’s check. The Stormwater division is responsible for insuring the integrity of our storm drainage infrastructure. This division receives funding solely from the collection of stormwater fees. This division is also responsible for preventive maintenance of stormwater infrastructure by street sweeping and loose-leaf collections. The division repairs and maintains all town-owned storm drainage systems.

Coloring Contest

Complete this coloring sheet and one of the listed activities and return to Town of Nashville, 499 South Barnes Street, PO Box 987, Nashville, NC 27856 by May 29th, 2018 to be entered in the 2018 Stormwater Coloring Contest.  Three winners from each age group will be chosen by members of the Town of Nashville Stormwater team and announced at the June 5th, Town Council Meeting and on the town website.  Coloring sheets will be displayed at the HD Cooley library from June 5th through July 6th.  This contest is sponsored by the Town of Nashville Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Resources Department and Stormwater Team.
