Mission Statement:

 Programs:

Zoning Administration

The Town of Nashville Planning & Development Staff provides recommendations to the Town Council, Planning Board, and Board of Adjustment on various decisions shaping the growth of our town. Staff ensures property owners adhere to adopted land use regulations when reviewing requests for new development. Most importantly, staff strives to conduct daily business efficiently, while providing great customer service to citizens, business owners, and developers.

 Economic Development

The Town of Nashville continues to prosper regionally by retaining successful local businesses while recruiting new industry. These efforts are made possible with collaboration from the Town of Nashville, Nash County, City of Rocky Mount, regional economic developers, as well as state and federal agencies. We recognize and believe economic development is as much a regional effort as local.

The Town of Nashville Planning Department strives for constant success and steady improvement by utilizing performance measures as a tool.  Please review our performance measures and continue to check in for quarterly updates.
