The Public is hereby notified of a Special Called Meeting  of the Nashville Town Council on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at 5:30 PM in the Town Council Chambers, 114 W. Church Street, Nashville, NC.   This meeting will be held for the purpose of the Consideration of Resolution 2019-18:  Resolution supporting the application to the Environmental Enhancement Grant Program for the Town of Nashville.  The Public is invited to attend.

Mission Statement:

To advance the quality of life of our citizens. We do this by protecting property values and encouraging orderly growth.  We provide guidance on local, state, and federal regulations.

Zoning Administration

Staff provides guidance to the Town Council, Planning Board, and Board of Adjustment. Staff applies ordinances and plans that encourage growth and increase property values. Our goal is to provide great customer service and to educate the public on various planning topics.

 Economic Development

Our goal is to encourage projects that will provide growth.  This requires teamwork with Nash County, City of Rocky Mount, economic developers, and state and federal groups.
