The Public is hereby notified of a Special Called Meeting  of the Nashville Town Council on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at 5:30 PM in the Town Council Chambers, 114 W. Church Street, Nashville, NC.   This meeting will be held for the purpose of the Consideration of Resolution 2019-18:  Resolution supporting the application to the Environmental Enhancement Grant Program for the Town of Nashville.  The Public is invited to attend.

Safety Training 

The NC League of Municipalities offers training for town employees for safety and loss control. The Town of Nashville is dedicated to providing a safe working environment by  reducing injuries, accidents, environmental impact, and ensuring compliance. UNC School of Government 

The   School of Government  at UNC Chapel Hill offers a variety of courses, publications, blogs, and resources for local government  officials and employees as a source of professional development, education, and growth. 

 

LGFCU Scholarship  for  Career Development 

The   Local Government Federal Credit Union offers  scholarships   to assist  members with professional development.  

UNC School of Government Scholarship   This scholarship will help cover tuition for classes, conferences, and seminars offered by the School of Government at UNC-Chapel Hill. 

NCSU Public Safety Leadership Initiative This scholarship is for law enforcement professionals. The scholarship will help cover tuition for the Administrative Officers Management Program (AOMP) and  Law Enforcement Executive Program (LEEP) at North Carolina State University.
