The Purchasing Division of the Finance Department is the centralized office charged with purchasing responsibilities for the Town of Nashville across all departments for the procurement of goods and services.

Responsibilities

The Purchasing Division provides services to all Town of Nashville departments by planning, organizing, and directing purchasing activities in accordance with federal, state, and local laws. The Purchasing Division is led by Melanie Bashore, Purchasing Agent/Tax Collector under the supervision of the Finance Director, Linda Modlin.
 
The division is also responsible for reviewing all contracts for compliance with applicable laws and ordinances.
