PUBLIC NOTICE - A Public Hearing will be held on Wednesday, September 26th at 7:00 pm in Town Council Chambers to receive public comments on the Street and Special Events Permit Application for the Children's Christmas Parade sponsored by the Nashville Chamber of Commerce.  The permit is requested for Saturday, December 1, 2018 from 2:30 pm until 6:00 pm and will impact traffic on W. Washington Street from Barnes Street to Alston Street.

At the August 7, 2018 Regular Town Council Meeting, the Town of Nashville Town Council declared certain personal property surplus and authorized for disposal by electronic auction.  From October 1, 2018 – October 12, 2018, surplus vehicles, equipment, and supplies will be sold via GovDeals, an online auction service provider, at Registration is required in order to bid and items are sold “as is, where is.” The acceptable methods of payment are cash, money order, and cashier’s check. The Office of the Town Manager is located in Nashville Town Hall at 499 South Barnes Street.  The Town of Nashville operates under the Council-Manager form of government.  The Town Manager is appointed by the Town Council and serves as the Chief Administrative Officer.  The position is responsible to the Town Council for the administration of all municipal functions placed in his charge and responsible for implementing the policies set forth by them.

The Office of the Town Clerk is located in Nashville Town Hall at 499 South Barnes Street.  The Town Clerk, who is supervised by the Town Manager, is responsible for providing notice of Town Council meetings, preparing the agenda and recording proceeding of meetings, serving as custodian of all permanent town records, keeping the Town Seal, attesting all Town documents, and maintaining the Town Ordinances.

Originally growing up in Farmville, North Carolina, Trey went on to attend North Carolina State University where he earned his BA in Psychology in 2008. He later graduated from the Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law at Campbell University and was admitted to the bar in 2014.

Trey accepted an associate position at Fields & Cooper, PLLC in November of 2014. The Town Attorney is appointed by the Nashville Town Council.
