The Public is hereby notified of a Special Called Meeting  of the Nashville Town Council on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at 5:30 PM in the Town Council Chambers, 114 W. Church Street, Nashville, NC.   This meeting will be held for the purpose of the Consideration of Resolution 2019-18:  Resolution supporting the application to the Environmental Enhancement Grant Program for the Town of Nashville.  The Public is invited to attend.

Braswell Memorial Library Local History and Genealogy Center- Ancestry.com is accessible while inside the Braswell Memorial Library.

 NCLive Genealogy Databases- a list of databases provided for free through NCLive that may help in family history research.

DigitalNC- many North Carolina records have been digitized by DigitalNC and can be viewed and searched on this website. Nashville has a 1944-45 WWII scrapbook on the site as well as photo albums of the Business and Professional Women (BPW) from  1948-1953, 1974-1978, 1981-1989, 1992-1993, and 1994-1996.

 

e-Books

E-iNC e-books -The H.D. Cooley's main resource for adult e-books and e-audiobooks. Patrons will need to download the Libby app if accessing on a device that is not a personal computer.   Instructions for downloading ebooks using the Libby app

NCLive e-books- a mixture of  nonfiction and fiction ebooks with a section of Homegrown North Carolina ebooks as well. You will need to log in using your library card.

Project Gutenberg free e-books - this is a great resource for reading classics on your devices for free and without having to use a library card.
