In May of 2011, The Town of Nashville adopted a Comprehensive Master Plan with a component focusing on economic development efforts entitled, “Economic Development Action Plan” that provides a strategy for improvements within specified areas of town.  The Washington & Barnes Street Business Corridor also known as our Downtown District is an area identified as having significant redevelopment opportunities.

MSD

Nashville would like to pursue these opportunities by investing in downtown revitalization efforts including beautification projects, infrastructure improvements, and promoting existing businesses.  This ultimately led to the Nashville Town Council adopting a Municipal Service District effective July 1, 2016.

Stay tuned to see what projects the MSD undertake this year!
