N.E.W. Hazard Mitigation Plan

Post Date:04/08/2019 5:23 PM

The 2015 N.E.W. Regional Hazard Mitigation Plan is being updated to meet FEMA Disaster Mitigation Act and North Carolina Emergency Management requirements.  This plan includes all municipalities in Nash, Edgecombe, and Wilson Counties and must be updated every 5 years to remain eligible for FEMA pre and post-disaster grant funding.  A public survey is also available at Surveymonkey.com.  A hazard mitigation planning website has been developed to provide information throughout the planning process at N.E.W. Planning Site.
