Employment Opportunity – Seasonal Field Supervisor

The Town of Nashville is seeking three responsible individuals to fill the position of Field Supervisor.  This position performs a variety of work in the Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Resources Department.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: assisting with practices and games for all sports/events; conflict resolution; enforcing park rules and regulations; field preparation and maintenance; and other duties as assigned.  Candidates must have a thorough understanding and working knowledge of adult softball, youth baseball, youth softball, t-ball, soccer, and football.  Must have the ability to work independently, use good judgement, take responsibility, and diplomatically respond to and handle problems.

Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and be able to work flexible hours including nights and weekends. Candidates are subject to work in both indoor and outdoor environments and in extreme heat and cold.  Candidates must be able to lift up to 10 pounds constantly and 50 pounds occasionally; must have the ability to hear; and must have the visual acuity to see the length of a ball field.

Rate of pay: $10.00 per hour.  Hours will vary but will be less than 20 hours per week.  This is a seasonal position.
